Join us as we embark on our journey to create The Sperrin’s first fully functioning whiskey production facility. In September 2021 we will commence production of An Carn Whiskey. You can be a part of this exciting new journey by purchasing a cask of An Carn Whiskey.

This is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the very first casks of Sperrin produced Irish whiskey from An Carn Distillery. You will own one of only 200 individually numbered casks, personalised with your name. Your cask will be filled with masterfully handcrafted new spirit and laid down in Grade A, first fill ex-makers oak. The casks will contain the same peated new spirit as that which will eventually comprise the core output of the An Carn brand.

Become A Part Of The Story…

Embark on your adventure by deciding where your story with An Carn begins. You can choose your cask from our exclusive selection of European and American oak casks – our distillery team will be happy to advise you on this.

Your selected casks will be individually numbered and filled with triple distilled An Carn Whiskey produced here at our Sperrins Distillery. You are welcome to personalise your cask with your signature or chosen digital mark.

We will then safely store them for you in an exclusive dunnage style area of our bonded warehouse until you are ready to enjoy responsibly. You will have the opportunity to sample representative casks each year to follow the malt’s progression.

At any time from year four onwards, owners can have their cask bottled in up to three editions, perhaps to celebrate three special occasions or anniversaries. Alternatively, your cask may be collected, exported or transferred to another owner.

Cask Release Details

We have created a truly unique package that includes a selection of exclusive benefits alongside ownership of the cask itself.

By joining the Founders programme you will receive: ownership of a 200 litre first fill ex-makers mark bourbon cask filled with either single malt or pot still new make spirit.

In addition to your cask, the programme includes:

Storage, maturation & insurance of your cask for 5 years.

A 100ml bottle of the new make spirit used in filling your cask as a reminder of how your Whiskey began its life.

Final bottling of your cask at either 46% ABV or cask strength, including cost of bottles (700 or 750ml), labelling (including your personalised cask name or statement), outer case packaging and all other associated bottling costs.

A unique Owners Certificate.

An open invitation to visit your cask during the years it spends ageing to perfection.
